Roots & Perspective

I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, in a family that has built businesses for more than a century. From an early age I learned that business is stewardship: discipline creates freedom, and success should elevate others. That conviction guides how I build companies, serve customers, and partner with investors.

Today I am pursuing my MBA at the Kellogg School of Management. I serve as Co-Director of the Kellogg Family Business Organization, am a Zell Fellow, and represent my class on the Honor Code Committee. I am preparing for my next chapter: to keep building through entrepreneurship and, eventually, thoughtful acquisitions that connect heritage with innovation.

My focus sits at the intersection of technology, health, finance, and food—markets that shape everyday life and reward builders who pair systems thinking with empathy.

Philosophy & Rhythm

Building well is my way of showing gratitude. Every day I practice prayer, learning, and focus to stay grounded while operating companies and supporting founders.

Outside of work I spend time with my wife Macarena, play soccer or tennis, or enjoy a good beer with friends while thinking about the next frontier.
